What You Do To Her
"What You Do To Her“ is a song written by the local Milwaukee singer/songwriter, Trapper Schoepp. This music video was created during the peak of the “Me Too” movement to shed light on those issues while taking influence from the late 60’s. The video utilizing a frame-by-frame 2D animation style and the visuals and lyrics are dedicated to all the people who have endured harm related to “Me Too”.
Drive-Thru Divorce
“Drive-Thru Divorce” is another music video created for Trapper Schoepp to follow a fictional couple going through a drive-thru divorce not too long after going through a drive-thu marriage in Las Vegas. From the start, we wanted the video to follow the nostalgic atmosphere of retro Las Vegas. This was my thesis capstone project for my senior year at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

On the left is a Rock the Vote event poster, and the two on the right are covers for singles. The one on the farthest right was a song co-written by Bob Dylan.
2020 MIAD Annual Mailer
Every year the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design puts out an annual alumni mailer designed by a MIAD alumni. I was chosen to create illustrations used for the design that year.
Milwaukee Ballet 50 Year Anniversary
The Milwaukee ballet was celebrating their 50th anniversary, and I was hired to create an animation with photography assets they had created. This visual was actually an augmented reality installation that was put up in their new ballet building built in the Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee. Viewers could go up to the installation, scan a QR code and through their phones see the poster come to life.
Milwaukee Magazine
I was approached by Milwaukee Magazine to create a set of illustrations to accompany an article about midwestern themed weddings. The tone and color palette convey a soft romantic feel while eluding to the friendly, approachable culture of the Midwest.
In The Valley Music Video
The song “In the Valley” was written by artists Mic Crawf and Moses. They approached me with a need for a music video to accompany the release of this song. We collaborated on the following:
Mask Up Milwaukee
At the height of the pandemic, OnMilwaukee tasked me with creating reminders to “mask up” on social media. This animation was created entirely in Photoshop and After Effects.
Innovate Magazine Augmented Reality Cover
Innovate Magazine, which is a branch of the Biz Times, was looking for an artist to create an illustration that could double as a cover and also as an animated, augmented reality experience. Through an app called Zappar users can scan a QR code to see the cover come to life through their phone’s camera.
